Now that I know of the behavior I do not need a new CEDPrint.
I have not tried printing from other Comet applications yet, wondering if ALL printing will attempt to use a background partition first?
One reason we have been assiging background is so that a SHUTDOWN program can be started in background when the client connects.
The SHUTDOWN program Exits Comet at a predetermined time each night prior to Stopping Comet Services on the Server before backup. This way the clients are terminated cleanly, with any nasty disconnected dialogs.
I still like to stop the Comet Services on the Server to ensure that there is no file activity.
