I use TACCESS and use ced to create command files to do my transferring. If, in the HOST or REMOTE statement, I try to use a unc name (\\xxxxx), ced blanks out the line at the \\ position and will not allow me to use a unc name. The only way it works if I am able to map a drive letter. It is becoming harder and harder to always map a drive letter. What is the purpose of the \\ thing, and is there a work around so that a unc name can be used?
