The Faxman jr based product is still very much alive. The new project is stalled because Microsoft's product is so under powered and difficult to use. There may be technical issues with any fax product.

I am glad you brought up the question of using an eFax provider. This is certainly a good alternative to faxing directly from a modem on one of your machines. You can send faxes with an email provider by just using our email printer solution. As I understand it, you just connect to the provider's SMTP server and send an email with the fax phone number in the to field. I think this is far superior to any fax solution we provide because it negates the need for proprietary hardware and software on your computers.

Feel free to explore any of these alternatives.

If you try eFax, please let us know here how it turns out.
