In the release notes for UTL 7.04 you stated that #FILES is no longer "supported". Does that mean they won't work. I have 7.04 installed on my office systems and everything seems to work fine.

Based on the discussion at the LV meeting, it may be awhile before we have a "gold" replacement for QREPORT.

This is how I set up my customers. A "RPG" directory with #FILES and all the $ files. Rarely is any report hidden. There may be one or two "admin" people who tweak reports before running using CED or the built in maint function. There may be a few reports with an IB front end that prompts the user for data and updates the $ files based on line key.

I like Jon's idea about eliminating The "Links" tab and showing secondary files in the tree view. Any report needing a C1A.to.C1A link would probably be created by me. So I don't think that type of link has to be accomodated in the new program. I'd add it by editing the IBR.
