After reading the applicable documents it appears that the patch fixes issues with RSS or TCP/IP Offloading. I can't be sure about the TCP offloading but my Intel Pro Adapter does not seeem to list RSS as a service. I'm reluctant to load this patch until I have a better understanding of how it may effect my system. Are you running windows 2003 standard edition? Does your adapter have RSS or TCP/IP offloading listed as a service? Where you getting the Error 61's and how often? If the patch works I'd sure like to know.
