Here's some information I gathered between the different sites where these errors happens.

Last time that DCA had these errors the Comet server showed active users in the "Comet Security Server 32" but the "CometServe 32" showed ZERO connection for Local CFAM and Remote CFAM (no local user onthis system).

I also found that when the connections goes down with this error 9b/61 the TaskManager indicates that CFAM is running at 99% on the local workstation (I did not however chack thi sall the time, but whenever I didi check it was at 99%)

Yesterday one of the client machine had a CFAM crash about the same time as these 9b/61 started to spread, not sure if it is the cause or the result of this problem. I will try to gather the information on this error on that workstation (wrote it down somewhere...)

I asked the Network Administrator to verify all our servers for the settings described in the KB article Jim pointed out. Early verification indicates all the Network Adapters are up to date and that the RSS is not in use but some of the registry entries could use little tweaking (they require a reboot).

We will experiment with it. But it is hard to tell, since these error 9b/61 may happen more than once on a single day and then not happen for days.

Hope this will help. We will continue to monitor the situation.
