My customer is still experiencing problems transferring a native windows file from his remote Comet Anywhere workstations to his main office file server.
I replaced an ancient DOS call-based file transfer with CopyFile. With the DOS tool we got Windows error 1265's. Now things are much improved. The CopyFile worked once. The second try transferred nothing and, because yours truly did not test for errors, there was no indication of an error.
My question now:
Is there a relationship between Function Errors and File Errors? If I get a Function Success reply, do I need to test for a File Error? Are certain File Errors associated with specific Function Errors?
