Hi All,
I have a problem at Myra Hines. Actually the first problem is that
they're still running Comet2002 320 03.02 & CometServe32 3.02 - they
are on old Comet and need to upgrade which I'm working on.
But the real problem occurs in CometAnywhere printing. Attached is
their INI file. As you can see, none of their # printers for remote
printing have a :RAW switch. The problem is that these remote users
will be printing to LC7, which should give them their default printer
( it's an HPLaserjet 4200 ) with condensed print. And most of the time they do get condensed print. However, they will frequently not
get condensed print but rather standard 10cpi print. Today I had
a remote user establish a shortcut to COSP with a /debug switch.
In viewing this box when print jobs go out, I find the printer being
used as HPLaserjet 4200:RAW. I have absolutely no idea where this
:RAW switch is being picked up. I have the user go to their COSW.INI
file and it shows a Remote Default of HPLaserjet 4200. I've got no
idea where to go with this. Any suggestions short of upgrading them?
