The Sysgen doc says that the server id has to be an IP address unless you are running a Novell network. (Yikes, Novell. RIP)
Onve every blue moon my router, which is my DNS server, decides that my desktop needs a new IP address. And Comet stops running.
Yeah, I know, I could give the desktop a static IP; but my question is: Despite what it says in the SYSGEN doc, can I identify my system using it's network name which does not change?
