True, there isn't detailed documentation on CometExplorer. We generally don't release detailed documetnation on the internal workings of any of the utilities. As far as the directory rebuild is concerned, it does use the file attribute information available in the keyed file so you don't have to supply it. It also has a lot more smarts about files with certain extensions in their name so you don't have to tell it to ignore these files. We feel it is a big improvement over the old QDIRBLD utility.
