Why is this better than an Close/Open of the printer? Seems like you have to rely on Windows timeout settings. Port, Spooler, or something else, which might be different for local and network printers.
Noticed that you referenced program "ZT". I aquired a customer in the Spring who has a version of Z and ZT for which they have no source. Z is a master menu program that uses Z0 to hold menu records. Also uses a ZCOMM file to save and restore COMMON in some programs.
Have source for anything like this?
