Wow... mixing the two? I don't know. Off the top of my head I'd say it'd work. Just to clarify... maybe I'm confused as to which "old" Reporter you're using. The names of the objects in the UTR dir don't begin with "RPT". They begin with "QREP...", like QREPGEN1, etc. The new Reporter (released in the latest UTL) does use names beginning with "RPG". Anyway, the latest Reporter does allow you to use the old "$" spec files in CED format as input. You don't have to convert to text files if you don't want to. That, combined with the enhancements that were done a couple of years ago should tempt you to try it. :-) Just convert #FILES to #CFILES using the DbMgr utility.
