I have posted to the code library, a date picker utility.
Datepicker is an IB program that creates an extended window and uses the Comet direct windows method to display a popup dialog containing a calendar control that allow selection of a date. Datepicker is implemented by setting a few parameters via #buffer, entering the program and obtaining the returned date from #buffer.
With a few lines of code, Datepicker allows added functionality to CED style programs.
