Yes I agree that cosDlghDlg$ looks like it should have the handle to the dialog, however after the dialog is created it looks, to me, like cosDlghDlg$ ends up with the handle to the Main Frame Window.
I've been attempting to follow the process through the subroutines, CW.CreateModelessDialog, CW.PrepareDialog, CW.DialogInit, CW.ExecuteDialog.
For a little bit today I was displaying a message box that did have the handle (determined by the use of Spy++) to the dialog, but managed to loose it and now cannot figure out exactly where I had the message box at.
