We are experiencing a frequent problem where a record is locked by a user, and the only way to release the record is to close the user session on the COMET Server. However, we've found the only way to do this is to kick everyone off and restart the ENTIRE COMET SERVER.
Because of the frequency in which we're encountering more and more incidents of "locked" records, restarting the COMET Server every day that this happens is very cumbersome and intrusive to the company's productivity.
Is there a better way to selectively close a user's session and hence free the "locked" record?
We're using Cometserver v 7.05, and user's are using COMET 2007 Build 385.
