In my recent testing of LPH I ran into this problem.
From my observations this should be working without any changes.
Things are not adding up.
My Open action Verb uses the WWW_OpenURLNewWindow in the topic like the other posters suggest.
My open action Verb is set to be the default.
This is for both .HTM and .HTML doc types.
When I click on those document types in the a windows folder, I do get them opening up different explorer windows.
I did take the HTMLPTR source and changed it to use the 'Open' action verb instead of "" and it still does not work.
Yet changing the 'Open in Same Window' action Verb to WWW_OpenURLNewWindow, which is what the 'Open' action verb is supposed to be doing does work, even if HTMLPTR uses "" or 'Open' for the action Verb.
Looking at the HTMLPTR source...
Curious that a Comet Anywere Client does produce different explorer windows for LPH.
In HTMLPTR the CA code is using the LAUNCH mnemonic.
Why is LAUNCH not used for Comet Clients.
Why does it still use ShellExecute?
