The 08000001 is stored in a session cookie. If cookies are not enabled, common would not be passed and each page would start out with common cleared.
The cookie is named eCometContext. Try going to the link below and then doing a refresh to see the cookie created by the first access. If you do not see the cookie, perhaps your browser is blocking them.
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
