I've used the COPIES command. It tells the printer to print n copies of each page. Without the COLLATE command you proabably get P1,P1,P1,P1,P2,P2,P2,P2 ... P10,P10,P10,P10 for a ten page report with four copies. Annoying for the user. I think the COLLATE makes the report print P1-P10 four times. Nicer but the entire report has to load in the printer's memory before any printing starts.

Like Marc, I used an early Keocera laser in the Q days with the ability to load forms and fonts. The Keocera even had credit card sized slots where fonts, images, and forms could be held for merging.

I found (SetPrinterInfo in the, now abandoned, IBHelp.chm file under "(Set" and in the Signature.net IB Help in the "S" section. The "(" is ignored in the alpha sort.

In this section is the codes for Orientation and Drawer/Tray/Bin selection. The later is way out of date and unreliable. I've worked with HP printers that use three digit numbers.
