Thank you for such a thorough description of your concerns with DbMgr. First let me try again to clear up some confusion about the new UTL and Comet 2008. Comet 2008 is not required for UTL 8.00 and the new Reporter. It will work just fine with Comet 2007.387. There are some other requirements however so your should check the full list of requirements before installing UTL 8.00.

One of your concerns was indeed addressed in 8.00. That is the performance of the "Import from FORMAT" utility.

I will review each of your other points and investigate addressing each one.
