Thanks for the reply. I put "COOKED" on there because the SYSGEN printer section documentation said that the COSW.INI statement---printer font=fontname,x,x,x,x---only worked for cooked printers. That's not true?

The Comet "lore" is hard to uncover. Seems to be some old, inaccurate documentation; undocumented features; etc. I thougth the documentations was pretty good at first; but the inaccuracies are piling up.

I am, however, very impressed with the Comet system overall. My customer is delighted. I am a former Q dealer and have been away from it since Y2K, except for this one customer who had no other solution to a very custom book club system my company wrote for them in the 1980's. I finally convinced them to get rid of the old Q system and convert to Comet. Easier for me and cheaper for them than converting to Visual Basic and SQL stored procedures!

I really appreciate the help on the Comet forum, including yours.
