I have a loptop (3 years old) where I keep my Comet developer. Every week or so, I'll get a pop up from Comet saying the Security Plug is missing. Even when I'm working elsewhere and Comet is sitting idle. When I look at the USB plug, the light has gone out. I can continue to work in Comet if I drag the pop up off to a corner and don't click OK.
Usually, I pull the plug and reinsert it. Windows finds it again and the USB light stays on. I restart Comet Services and all is well again.
You might consider picking up a standalone USB card for the server and attach the Comet USB plug there. The MOBO USB sounds like it might be "touchy".
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
