I would love to have another file (i.e. *.z00) that contained password, date, time and terminal ID, for transactional details on a record by record basis. I spend alot of programming time tracking that stuff. I have a keyed file called Audit-1 that gets written to from every potentially dangerous program. Qmonitor also records login/logout times to that file. Think about GTL (General Ledger transaction listing), when an operator creates a journal entry, without any programming we would have what time they did it, who did it and from where did they do it! On every write, insert, update or delete to the key of the real file it would write to this .z00 file with the key of the real file all those details. Something to think about anyway.
