I am having a problem trying to get Comet to automatically run a program I created that launches multiple programs.
First, I created a program called "AUTORUN" which simply launches a few Comet of my Comet application programs such as an eComet program and an Email order confirmation program ("Thank you" to Jon Sacks for providing the sample code "Comet Scripting from within Comet" to accomplish this task). The program works great.
Secondly, and here is where my problem is, I want to run the new AUTORUN program automatically when Comet starts up. So I created a simple keyfile option/switch which lauches the AUTORUN program. When I run Comet with this option, Comet for some reason launches my AUTORUN program not only on the 1st Comet session that loads, but also in place of each program "Launched" in the AUTORUN program.
To recap, If I run my AUTORUN program from the monitor is launches the programs in seperate Comet sessions just fine. If I try to run the AUTORUN program from a keyfile switch which contains one line (AUTORUN and a CR), Comet runs the AUTORUN program on the 1st Comet session as well as once for every Lauch command in the AUTORUN program.
It looked like it could have been a Common problem so I setup 1000 bytes of common in my AUTORUN program and set them to '', but it didn't help.
Any ideas anyone?
