I think it may be the (ERASEFILE=) in line 143. Erasefile, like all the other mnemonics such as copyfile, pre load the input buffer with their results and act like the user has hit enter. The subsequent print at line 303 should have cleared the input pending state. Did you add the print as well as the input to clear this behavior?

If you add a "INPUT (0,0003)" just after the (ERASEFILE=) mnemonic I think the situation will be fixed.
