My Vista PC came Home Premium. Comet installed fine, no registration problem, and COSW.INI was in the "C:\programdata\signature systems" folder.
After my subscription Vista Business arrived from Microsoft, I chose to install in on a reformatted drive to eliminate any leftovers from Home Premium. Comet installed as before.
Installed SP1. Then added the PC to my domain and began moving apps over from my XP workstation. I don't remember seeing a Users folder until after I joined the domain. I have my original Local Admin account and my domain account. It's a Local and Domain Admin account.
Comet is running from C:\Comet and gets no complaints from Vista with UAC off.
Based on folder dates, it looks like installs before joining the domain went to "ProgramData" and since to "Users".
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
