Multiple Servers

I noticed that I can create a comet directory on a server that isn't running the comet file system but I can't access the directory. The utility creates the required QDIR files. I added the directory as a "C" directory in SYSGEN but the statup gives me a warning stating
"Cannot Find \\ds1\comet\arc\qdir.I00". Am I doing something wrong or is the Comet OS limited to a single server?
