The Comet file server can only serve its local files. Each server of Comet files needs to be configured as such (type "C" server in your Comet configuration file). This means you'd have to have the Comet file server software running on each server. Each client will require one file server license for each file server it wants to access.

You shouldn't try to configure it as a type "L" directory. You are setting yourself up for file corruption. And, beginning with Comet version .392, only type "C" directories are allowed.
