I just completed my first Comet32 program that uses functions and subroutines. It also uses a lot of memory and could use some of missing (aka not yet implemented in Comet32) commands.

I was just wondering... Is the proc compiler and Comet32 mutually exclusive? Can we use subroutines and/or functions in the "old" compiler?

I am asking because I find the "missing" commands to be many... And the subroutines are so useful. In Comet32, the FSTAT does not work, the (CopyFile), RENAME, and all the DOS tricks don't go. So I am a bit short changed to finish this project.

On the other hand, regular Comet has all the working stuff but lacks functions & subroutines.

I am stuck and feel a bit helpless....

Did I mention also that when we run a Comet32 program, ALL sessions are locked-up ? Sounds like the Comet 32 hogs all time-slices - no wonder it is so damn fast !!!
