Frankly Robert, I am feeling confused andd helpeless too. We have CFAM -- a totally rewritten file system and interface routines that works fine.

We have this 32 bit (64 bit?) runtime code that does 80% of what comet does but no clear idea of how to deliver it.

The 32 bit stuff does not connect to the same COSC threads as the 16 bit stuff. We made a system besed on the 16 bit code that would cause COSW to host the 32 bit runtime. That is the p99 you are seeing. We are now working on a fully 32 bit version of comet that we call cos32 that starts in 32 bit mode and cannot leave it.

There is a whole list of development items that comet32, in whatever flavor you choose, must be coded and tested. I totally welcome help from someone such as you to get the design and goals in prospective.

Maybe the word "welcome" is not appropriate. Maybe "need" is more like it;-)

I know you are really busy with your own projects and such, but we should talk about this in depth on the phone soon.

I also invite others of you who have tried the comet32 product to help out with this.
