Being SF I suppose they tried all the obvious passwords. I've seen some utilities on the net that can get to or reset passwords. Boot from a Linux or DR-DOS CD and do a reset. For a big organization MS would help. If you have physical control of the box(es) you can fix anything. Can't believe it would go on for weeks. I'm guessing "Urban Myth".
Schwartenegger is pretending to be tough (he's a better actor than anyone thought). The Controller is pretending to be stupid (limited acting skills). All show and no substance. Political pandering at the DC level.
