Please ... someone explain this to me. I had a client restore some files from their backup tapes for me to review. The last update date and times on these files were 8/5/08 at 7:43am. The tape was created on Saturday 8/9/08 at 1:45am. Client swore to me that the backup was correct and that these files had not been updated since 8/5/08. Being that these were the master inventory files, I was somewhat concerned to say the least. Loaded these files to my system and found that the transactions from 8/7/08 and 8/8/08 ARE in the file. The system date and time on the server are correct. How is this possible? Any explanation will be greatly appreciated.
