Having a problem with DBX (also the new qreport). Has something changed concerning how these use image files? I have a client who has used DBX in the past, however now when they run it and reference any image files, the results are garbage. Tried it myself and got the same results. First of all, when I call up the file in dbmgr, the file information is displayed, however, the image check box is unchecked and the field is shaded. I checked the actual .d00 that for the file and the file is set for image = yes. Thinking that maybe the .d00 on my system got corrupted, I loaded my .d00 onto their system with no luck. I reloaded the utl directory with no luck. Fearing the file may be corrupted, I created a "$" of my spec and it worked just fine. As far as what they have re: comet, they are running comet 2008-build 390. I even loaded an earlier version of the utl directory thinking maybe a change happened, but was unsuccessful. Their UTL is now 0803g. I tried reproducing this using the new qreport and got the same results. Please advise what additional information you require. Oh yes, the cometserve is 8.02.
