I see your point Mike. You are correct that the progress bar is supported only by host/remote file transfers. Although it sounds relatively easy, adding this feature would require substantial changes to several programs. Until we can get around to working on this I would look for an alternate solution. I would suggest using IB DOS commands to copy the file while displaying a progress bar from your own code.
