We gave up and moved to Cometsrv32. The problem happens when the server reaches high utilization. CometNLM uses the NIC address of the client to keep track of the requests (including the port number ie: NNNNNNNNNNNNNN:PPPP). The port number changes if in the background the Novell client does not see the server for a period of time and then reconnects the client with a new port number assigned.

Signature can not handle this since they rely on the NIC address to identify the client.
