Comet Anywhere Version Update

For the last 2 Comet 2008 releases (393 & 394), the Comet Anywhere client does not prompts for an update, but then instead of updating simply tells you the client is already up to date. I believe this happens cosw is changed but not cosc or cosh, or vice versa. Regardless, is it possible to keep the versions of all 3 the same so the update will take place and get the client version updated?

Here's the code I use to check. If there's another way for the client to check for an update, please share. Thanks!
