Any SOAP development out there?

We have a request in from an end-user to work with FedEx in doing Address Validation. Info downloaded from FedEx indicates that that
they use XML, WSDL and SOAP to process Address Validation requests.
Has anybody taken the dive into this swimming pool yet? Tom.
