When setting CATEMP to "%USERPROFILE%\Foobar" in COSW, works.

When setting same in COSWGLOB, "Checking Type-C Directory : $(CATEMP)\ Check Failed, error=1002."

The goal is to setup 1 config (COSWGLOB) and forget about it. I have no desire to micro-manage everyone's COSW. That's exactly what I'm trying to get away from.

While we're on the subject, which environment variables are usable?

Using %TEMP% I get, "COSW is unable to load COSC".

Using %SystemRoot%\Temp works.

Using %HomePath%\Temp fails with, "system cannot find the path specified". Possibly due to the spaces in the folder name? The startup details give me this gibberish:
13:02:14 Checking Type-C Directory : ¸\ûXø»H«©]ûC:\WINDOWS\TEMP
13:02:14 Check Failed, error=1002.

Using %AllUsersProfile%\Temp works, but converts the folder name to 8.3 (ends up as "C:\DOCUME~1\ALLUSE~1\TEMP\").

Did you test with all variables, or just %UserProfile%?

Regardless, I should be able to set this in COSWGLOB, should I not?
