Got the new laptop on late Monday. Tuesday - installed Ultimate SP1, drivers, patches - yadda, yadda, yadda.

Wednesday. Moved C:\Comet from old laptop. Installed latest Comet.

See screen shot. COSC stops before connection to server. The firewall isn't issuing any challenges but I tried adding Exceptions. One for 11750 and one for Comet.exe. No go. Since the screen shot, I've added an exception for ports 11750 thru 11759. No go.

All five Comet services are running. Tried "Comet.exe /D" and "Comet.exe /D". Same error.

The IP for the PC is 192.168.16.29 but the Comet INI has 127.0.0.1 as the address of the server.

My Vista Business PC is Cserve 8.02 and 608.392 and works OK. There were no Firewall Exceptions done for this PC.

I'll retro to older version to see if problem goes away.
