Now let's talk about the implementation. Are you thinking of reading the file from beginning to end? Using the normal, typical Comet file read?
I fear that will not give us the performance the world expects.
We need "Google-like" speed. Can Jim give us a faster read? Forget the indexes; read big blocks; pass the process onto the server so there is no client -- server forth and back record by record, key index level by key index level...
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
