Single Byte Input

Is there a statement that will allow me to create an input statement for one byte (or another fixed amount) of data that forces the transmit so the user does not have to tab or enter.

I want to present the message at report end:

T-Terminate,R-Run Another Report,Tab-Menu

and I want the operator to just hit T or R and not have to hit enter.
