At a dos prompt:
sort /+[start position] /r[everse] [input fle name] > [output file name]
I sorted a 1.5mb 15,747 record comma delimited file in under 1 second.
Note: Start position is optional, for my comma delimited file I told it /+2 (start in the 2nd position of the record).
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
