I think I've discovered a GOTCHA! Sig has 2 separate spooler options and it inhibits upgrading to later releases of Comet.
The folks (customers) are used to the QSPOOL option, even has a browser feature. I programmed it. Enhanced printing and QSPOOL are like water and oil. DOCMGR and QSPOOL have got to be merged into ONE solution to enhance Comet. Morph it!! The old with the new. Continuity. Trying to do both gives the people who HATE change an argument to resist upgrade. This isolates DOCMGR. By far, the majority of reports/journals are of type QSPOOL. For me, enhanced printing involves paychecks, invoices or special spread sheet like reports, etc. What you say?
