Comet 2009 is the way to go. Like every year the last year's product is retired on April 30th. We won't be making any more updates to Comet 2008. Comet 2009 includes updates to the current product (ie Comet16) as well as the new Comet32.
We recommend you keep up to date on REL and UTL. The only reason to stay on an older UTL would be if you haven't yet converted #FILES to #CFILES.
