This server is for housing multiple Windows 2008 Hyper-V hosts to support all of Comet (Comet Server, Anywhere, XAP, Security), File Maker Pro, MS SQL server, IIS Server and our Forecasting system.
This is one of two Hyper V servers that are running to eliminate 10 physical servers. All are supported by a 3-Terrabyte SAN. By the time we are done 15 servers will have been reduced to 3 and 15 Drive Arrays will be reduced to to 2 SAN arrays significantly reducing overall overhead and management.
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
