Do DOSFC commands work on a local drive when using CometAnywhere?

I'm trying to erase & create a dos file using DOSFC commands. Using Comet, with a path to a folder on my local drive, it works fine. Using CometAnywhere, with a path to the same folder, it is returning a path not found error. I've verified that the program is getting the exact same path name in both cases. Is this a limitation in CometAnywhere, or am I overlooking something else? (The latter wouldnt surprise me based on the way today is going so far)
