The Comet files (and programs) actually reside on the Comet File Server. They are read into the comet machine's memory and execute there. I am 90% sure that this will work, but don't have a guess as to any performance improvement if any.

Have the IT guy specify exactly what he means by VMs and give an example of the configuration he plans to use.
