I'm pretty sure that is their intent. They claim it will be faster with the internet connection to a VMs machine. Since the Comet programs actually reside on the client's machine, I'm not sure what the advantage would be. The programs are small and probably aren't taxing the inhouse network. My main concern is if Comet can actually run in this environment.
