Master Browser is disabled on Win/2008 Server. All XP/Vista client's Master Browser are set to automatic. These are the defaults. So all clients are clamoring with each other on who is to be the master all day long?? Wondering MS's thinking. Why not set the server, disable all clients and be done with it?? And the unlucky A/R Client PC is?? Why is my PC so slow?? Because you're the Master Browser, that's why. Explain that to a customer account! Now that's life in the support zone!! Going on in attempts to conquer SPAM..
