I have a program that reads from a MySQL db on a web site. We have moved the web site to a new host. The older version of the ODBC Driver (3.51) worked on the old site but will not work on the new site. I downloaded the newer version of the mySql ODBC driver (5.1) which will not work on the old site but seems to connect to the new site. Something about security protocol. The program opens the DSN, defines the record set, writes the datamap and executes the set open options statement all without error but when it attempts to execute the rsOpen on the table I get a windows error - OdbcDrv MFC Application has encountered a problem and needs to close. It hangs the comet session and requires that I close comet and terminate the services before I can restart comet. Anybody have suggestions or a better way to get data from the DB?
