Recently purchased a 500 gig USB Flash drive from WD for $80. What a low price. Remembering Q-days. Hooked up with my hardware provider and discovered the comment that this WD solution is for home/small business backup solutions upto 2 TB. Another layer for backups of videos, pictures, docs, data, whatever are nothing more than a point, click, drag via Explorer. Another business backup layer is NAS. A little more expensive but not by much and capacity (by what I've read) is upto 8 TB.
I'm buying the 1 TB model. Why would you have to interface Comet with a NAS backup device?? Not exclusively a backup device but another storage solution?? Symantec Backup Exec comes with the package. Backup or Storage solution??
